The pink and yellow orb is a power sphere, sort of a generator on steroids tough enough to provide juice for a small planet. The LoSV is stealing it.

Previously in this series, they stole a new transparent planetary security shield out from around Earth. Hmmm....

If I'm not mistaken, the scope of their nefarious plan should become clear in the next post in your series. Good gravy, how I love Eye for an Eye!
