	Reading that story, I have to wonder how much Pat Boone's agent paid for this glowing endorsement. (The story is in serious Mary Sue territory.) (Reply to this) (Thread)

Pat had his own DC comic around this time, so it's no surprise he gets fawned over here. But celebrity guest-appearances were a favorite gimmick during this era: Allen Funt ("Candid Camera"), Steve Allen (original "Tonight Show" host, said to be a dead ringer for Clark Kent), wrestler Antonio Rocca, and of course the notorious JFK appearance, which hit the stands the same month he was assassinated.
