They finally manage to put out a Great Ten series and don't get Greg Rucka to write it? A perfect opportunity to get the old Checkmate creative team back together, wasted! What a travesty!

I know my roomie is picking this up...part of me wants to show her this and get the screaming over with (she's a HUGE Roy Fan). The other part of me is terrified to do so.

I really don't get the love for this character. By far the least appealing of the core Titans, and he always has been.

And also, why do people try to brand Dick Grayson a man slut when this guy's still walking the earth, sleazily seducing any female that crosses his path?

Does he get a free pass because he has a kid?

Given the current tenor of TITANS, I'd guess we're probably in for an issue-long "Why do I do this with my life?" mopefest much like this month's Starfire issue, with a little minor violence added in for spice.

DC: Oh, we remembered we actually had a functional family with a preteen in it who has been consistently appearing in comics for over 20 years.

Nothing's more tension building than breaking up families! So let's kill Roy for a little while, then we can shift that annoying preteen onto a bus. Because children are so aging for a superhero.
