Even though the Mighty Boosh didn't come up with the idea of syringe fingers, that Scarecrow design strangely reminds me of the Crack Fox.

Oh god the Crack Fox.

Now I am going to have twice as many nightmares.

Harley is making me ill. Xp Having all her colors switch sides from the front angle to the back angle is doing bad things with my brain. I like the design concept though, looks like she walked out of a Lewis Carrol novel now.

I hasn't noticed it until you mentioned it, but either the front or back is a mirror image, based on the other (probably the back, given where her name tag is).

I don't like that Scarecrow design...remove the gas mask filters (or at least hide them in a way that fits with the theme), and the needles, and it'd work OK, but, as it stands, it doesn't.

Ivy has some good ideas (I really like the 'organic tattoo'), but the 'bikini bottom' design and the uniform top just don't work for me - either going all the way with 'artfully concealed nudity' (though that might be hard to make work in a game), or going with a more comic-typical look would be better.

Harley works for me, though.

I'd be a little bit more behind Ivy's design if it looked as though they'd actually followed through with it in the game - In the trailer we got for Ivy, recently, it just looks like she's wearing a cardigan or something. Given her background, why not a lab coat? You can still play the idea of 'revealing and sexy', but then I suppose we'd be deprived of ass-shots.

I'm not a big fan of the pseudo-realism they're seemingly trying to go with in these characters, but I still think all three could've been better interpreted. For instance, the ultimate Scarecrow design for me is still the one they came up with for the New Batman Adventures - as in, less obviously scarecrow-esque, and more just plain scary.

Not feelin' Ivy's, but Harley's got the appropriate level of fucked-up-cute going on.

Pretty much. And that facial expression is pure Harley.

She's not averse to a bit of dressing up, so a nurse's outfit (of sorts) isn't massively unusual.

I feel the same, Harley's really works for me, though I wonder if it's a bit too cluttered to come out clearly in the actual game.
Scarecrow's creeps me out, seriously, it's like something out of Resident Evil, I scare really easily during video games, this jusmping out at me would probably give me a heart attack.

And here I never thought I would ever want Poison Ivy to put some goddamn pants on.

I mean, seriously. We've seen her in many revealing costumes, but this one I'm not even able to enjoy. I just keep thinking how it looks like she forgot to put on her fucking pants this morning.

Also, while I still don't like Harley's outfit, she at least looks more like herself in the drawn version than she does in the trailers I've seen.

I guess it's to show that she's still an Inmate. Bane and Croc have their Jumpsuit pants one too(though in their case they're shirtless).

Harley's-I'm on the fence, I'm a sucker for her classic look.

Ivy-A tad too skanky.

Scarecrow-Pretty cool but I would go for a more understated gas-mask.

Once again the villain designs leave me underwhelmed (that's not Scarecrow, that's Needle-Hand).

However, the gameplay vids I've seen of BAA make my pants drool.

Scarecrow looks like some hazmat suited monster from Silent Hill. Ivy is kind of lame with the jacket. Harley is perfection. It might be interesting in combat with Harley if her sides change color, depending on how the lighting and combat system works.

I don't like the 2d version, but the 3d version of Harley looks fucking terrible. In my humble opinion.

Ivy's just strikes me as lazy.

The vibe I'm getting here is that these costumes are supposed to have been cobbled together out of stuff that the inmates found lying around Arkham - and by THAT way of looking at things, these ain't bad. Scarecrow looks pretty good - I'm not sure I see the point of him having hypodermic fingers when his main weapon is a fear-GAS, last time I checked, but maybe he's changed the formula; I dunno. The gasmask looks effective on him, anyway. (What I'd like to know is, why is he in here at all? I mean, how do you effectively represent fear in what's basically a fighting game?)
Ivy's is... interesting. I like the vine/tattoo idea, and the green tears are a nice visual touch, but if she can just GROW a costume for herself, then why does she need a shirt? What's wrong with the leaf-swimsuit she normally has?
And Harley... hmm. Well, I'm guessing that the Joker has engineered all this somehow, so maybe he got the 'my little nurse' outfit for her. I can't say I like it much, but at least it looks like the sort of thing she might WEAR.

do NOT want x 203803948

even if you go by "stuff they found around Asylum to make costumes" - one look at Harley and that theory flies out the window.

Ivy having "henna vines" is an interesting thought, but she looks like a skank h0.
Harley needs to lay off the Hot Topic

I haven't seen what Scarecrow looks like in the game until now, and yowza that's cool. It reminds me of his appearance in Gotham Knights the animated movie, and even a little bit of Azrael. I don't mind Ivy, in fact (self-plug time!)http://jedd-the-jedi.deviantart.com/art/Poison-In-Your-Veins-129926927 I did some fanart here. But Harley's outfit bothers me as much as it does the next person. S&M nurse is a little too obvious, Harley isn't about blatant sexuality.

The syringe fingers are creeping me out. A lot. So I guess they are appropriate.

Harley is adorable.

Ivy's thong is terrible, but I do love her hair.
