CCI: X-Men Panel

You can read more about "Necrosha" here. It's going to be a crossover that runs through X-Force, X-Men: Legacy, and New Mutants.

It IS a lot like "Blackest Night", isn't it?

I imagine Marvel and DC as two women that accidentally show up in the same dress for a party. >_>

I would say its more like one lady went home to put on the same dress as the lady already there.

I'm giving Marvel the benefit of the doubt here in assuming that they've planned this for a long time and couldn't really stop it anymore when DC started their Blackest Night.

Reminds me of a few years back when movies kept coming out in pairs. Deep Impact/Armageddon, Saving Private Ryan/Thin Red Line, Volcano/Dante's Peak, etc...

I have to say, hearing Joe Q describe Blackest Night as "DC Zombies" did feel a bit like the pot calling the kettle black when they later announced this storyline/event. This genuinely seems to have been in the works for some considerable time, though, so I think it probably is more coincidence than not, to be fair.

Warlock? Cypher (in some iteration) this could be fun... provided there's SOME good coming out of something that sounds like the Balckest Night meeting the Phalanx Covenant.

Wonder who the blonde Doug's hugging/being hugged by is. Magik?

Oh, and kudos to them picking up the Amara/Selene link hinted way back in the original New Mutants (and which the "Nova Roma is fake" retcon rather ruined)

though he didn't say how he unretconned it, I don't think. People just started calling her Amara again.

I've always had the idea that Nova Roma was real, but not everyone was descended from the original colonizers. That Selene dumped her enemies and potentially useful people there to have them at her disposal and to prevent... well, inbreeding problems

that doesn't explain the how. I mean Amara wasn't the only one affected by Nova Roma being revealed as fake. But mine does.

Very excited by Necrosha, especially since it features my favorite X-characters (wel, it still lacks of New X-Men). I can't wait to see Selene's children: Calimero Wither and... Blink (WTF?)

Magneto's return. MEH. There was a potential for stories and even a mini with Magneto depowered and they screwed that. I'm sick and tired of the iconic villains coming back all the time.

There are New X-men in X-Force. Elixir, X-23, the Cuckoos. And C&C might bring in a few more to help fight these zombies.

And X-men: Legacy has a bunch in the supporting cast, so far Carey has mentioned using underdeveloped characters like Bling!, Trance, Indra, and Loa. As well as Hellion, Surge, Dust. Not all at once or right away of course. But over time yes. They aren't all necessarily going to be in this story either, but probably Bling! and Trance at least.

616 Blink! Or mind controlled AoA/Exiles Blink. What? Exiles is canceled, it could happen.

Yes, There are some New X-Men with X-Force but wouldn't count the Cuckoes. Just because they made a cameo in the comics doesn't make them members of the team.
About Legacy, In don't knwo if the New X-Men are going to be a part of the comics or just apper in the first arcs.
But yeah, Elixir will probably have a role to play, since his ex rival in love, Calimero Wither, is now Selene's pet.

The Blink who is with Selene is probably 616 Blink, despite her costume. Exiles wasn't cancelled yet when she first appeared in X-Force, so I doubt that Kyle&Yost planed to use AOA Blink.

I consider the Cuckoos a part of the the supporting cast.

And Carey has said that this is Rogue's new role in the book. As a mentor for the New X-men. They'll be her supporting cast.

It is not mentioned in the Necrosha solicits, but in X-Force 11, Selene was showed with some followers. One had pink skin and a green suit looking very much like AOA Blink's.
I think the AOA suit was either a mistake either a delibarate choice so we can identify the character (since 616 Blink doesn't have a recognizable costume)

Technarchy - Individualistic warrior species.

Phalanx - Leftover Technarchy food that's gone spoiled, developed a group mind and has ideas above it's station, unaware it's a preprogrammed deathwish

As I was going to lay down night before last, my friend shows me a picture of Joe Quesada talking to Geoff Johns. I jokingly told my friend they were discussing Dark Reign: Blackest Night.

When I woke up and found that I wasn't terribly far off, I couldn't help laughing.

As far as I'm aware, the last time we saw Warlock was in A:C dealing with the Phalanx, so Necrosha would actually be a great way for him to come back to the X-verse too.

I'm fascinated by "Necrosha" since Selene needs her due as an X-villain. After all, she's thousands of years old. I'm surprised they never used her as a villain in "Guardians of the Galaxy." (Even Ra's Al Ghul has fought the Legion of Superheroes.)

As we've seen on this board, Wolverine stabbed Rachel Summers to stop her from killing Selene. Hopefully, if Logan and Selene confront each other, that will be mentioned.

Selene could be placed into Captain America's origin. Selene is annoyed by the Nazis wanting to take over the world, and assists in the creation of a super-solider. From Selene's POV, after the Axis Powers are defeated, a squad of super-soldiers would be a smorgasbord for her. But only one super-soldier is created, and the rest is history.

Recent issues of "Legacy" have seen Rogue overcome some very personal struggles like mastering control of her powers and regaining the ability to touch other people

Why has no one mentioned this development before? How did this happen?

Creative momentum once again ceased and although the brand was bought by LVMH (owners of both TAG Heuer and Zenith cheap watches ) this design drought continued and Seiko replica Patek Philippe watches are known worldwide for their superb design, elite performance, and legacy of style.Originally founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori, a replica Tag Heuer watches and jewelry shop owner from the Ginza area of Tokyo, the company first began producing wallclocks in 1892 under the name Seikosha:
