In ur 'hood, pwnin' ur homiez
In honour of his upcoming appearances in Blackest Night, I bring you a scene from Suicide Squad #49.

Life is rough enough as a street punk but think how much more dangerous it must be in the comic book universes. Not only do you have rival gangs, angsty drug lords, tweakin' homies, and the risk that the mark you've chosen is an out-of-uniform cop, you have the added risk that the mark you've chosen is an out-of-costume super-villain.

....Well that was anti-climactic.

It's like having a wallabye in your bonnet! Just trying to talk the feets and he gets hopped by a pair of roo's with bad do's and nope.. no I am done. Old School Digger speak is hardcore nonsense I love it.

Well, five roos and I think one of them might have been Vibe from the "Justice League Detroit" days but oh yeah on the bad hair day. Bad everything day for those guys. And your Diggerspeak is frickin' hysterical XD

*glee*

Thinking about it ... Diggerspeak doesn't half remind me of Kenneth Williams doing his 'Song of the Australian Outlaw'.
In fact, this song here.
Enjoy. ;)

Great moment. I'm a huge Suicide fan. The book seriously needs to be collected.

you have the added risk that the mark you've chosen is an out-of-costume super-villain.

Yeah, that's got to be a real hazard in the big cities like Metropolis and Gotham (well, maybe not Gotham... I don't think Batman's villains ever go out in civvies).

And if you live in Keystone/Central, the chance of running into a Rogue out of costume is pretty damned high...

I do love Digger's smirk in the third panel. He is totally going to enjoy pwning these idiots.

I love how he's so non-chalant about it. He's not even throwing the 'rangs, just casually tossing them out! Ants, meet elephant.

Well, the Rogues generally don't have to expel effort to take down street punks. The superhero community might consider them as jokes, but they're all formidable fighters. Didn't Cold ice a guy who attempted to stick-up the corner store where Cold was buying batteries?

Exactly! And it's how little effort they have to expend that makes them so damned scary. I really don't see why they're still considered to be jokes, because in most instances where they've fought someone other than Flash, they've won pretty easily.

Indeed he did! No fanfare about it either, he just rolled his eyes, turned around and shot the guy. That's the way to do it! Save the fanfare for later, when you drop the punk off at the copshop with a little note signed with "your friendly @%#! neighborhood Captain Cold" and decorated with sparkles! ...... .... uh, yeah...

Snort, oh that is awesome! I love the bit with Len and Tarpit at the Combines game, where he makes Angie hold his beer and stomps down to help Flash 'cause he actually paid for the tickets....

The Rogues really have that 'this is OUR city' possessiveness you usually only see in the heroes, don't they?

On the other hand, it's nice how the street gangs in comics are so racially diverse. None of this "banding together with members of your culture for solidarity" nonsense for these young ne'er-do-wells; looks like they've included at least two members from most of the major racial groups there (I'm assuming that sunburnt pompadour guy is supposed to be Latino, and not Wooden Sword Ryu after forgetting his sunscreen).
