	Ch'p died....15? years ago. In Mosaic. A few issues into the run, he was hit by a yellow truck. (Seriously.) It wasn't his last appearance. He appeared to John as a spirit (or hallucination) later in the series. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Anyone ever see that one movie... Tales From The Darkside or one of those... with the story about the black cat tormenting the evil old man? At the end, when the old man dies, the cat forces its way down his mouth and throat, and nests in its stomach to wait for the evil old man's evil lawyer. Yes, but the GLC were largely intact after the Crisis(and remembered pre-Crisis events) and Ch'p was one of those "anomalies" left behind like Power Girl.

Actually, his planet wasn't erased. Just his existence was.

And then? And then? They had him die like roadkill. I hope all the first ones who come back are ones tasteless writers frivolously killed like that. This is why I say the Dibnys deserve revenge, and especially on the Hawks, because the Dibnys were disposed of in a sickening and pointless way just for a shock, while look at how much fucking trouble and twisty logic has been used to maintain the Hawks.

Speaking as the foremost expert on Ch'p, all I can say is that IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME!

I just wish he'd come back in a more dignified way. I mean, Rocket Raccoon is doing decent numbers for Marvel, right? :) Anyways, in answer to an earlier question, that is in fact him, not some random member of his race. The infamous overalls and bow tie uniform is painfully evident.

On the bright side, Ch'p will have a speaking role in the upcoming Green Lantern: First Flight, and he is on the deluxe 1/4 scale Hal Jordan museum figure out this fall. Apparently Hal needed the Munk Without Fear at his side because he just wasn't cool enough. :)
