What If.. Dr. Doom Kept the Beyonder's Power?
Due to the hackage on Image Shack yesterday, I looked over and noticed some scans where lost in various posts of mine save for one character, Dr. Doom. In honor of this, I find it only appropriate to post "What If.. Dr. Doom Kept the Beyonder's Power?". And pretty much this shares my thought of this entire affair:
For those wondering what the heck I'm talking about, here's the whole story. Yesterday, someone hacked into imageshack and anyone who uploaded images onto it found said images replaced with this:
I'm not gonna even bother with image posting it and leave it where it belongs. Leaving it up to you to click it and read the babble.
Of course Image Shack fixed it but alas to say, images where lost. So if you uploaded any images onto here, best check. In anycase, I looked about and it appears I have to rescan a couple things cause I deleted those scans from my pc.
Still, the rest I had saved on my pc and whatever damaged I fixed. Yet out of all this not one Doom scan of mine was harmed. I find that remarkable. Thus in honor of DOOM I post this comic which was released last year I think.
This one-shot was over forty-three pages, but I'm only posting eight. This was the first $3.99 comic I ever bought thus far. Given it was Doom. I believe the purchase was worth every penny.
I do so hope this post convinces you to buy this one shot. There where so many great moments in this. But really I'm only gonna post a first couple of pages from it and four pages after that.
Doom attempts to conquer the world with his newfound godhood, only Sue Storm stands in his way with the remaining heroes who weren't involved with the Secret Wars. They fail, Doom wins. Doom then pays Susan a visit afterward:
Doom then goes on to kick the galaxy's ass and also gains more god-like power in the process thus gaining the attention of the Celestials.
Yeah Doom kicked the ass of all those Celestials. Course it took him a heck of a long time to do it.
As for the ending, pick it up. Trust me, if you're a Dr. Doom fan this one-shot is worth getting. From the cover to the various awesome moments within it. It is all made of win. But then that is Doom for ya.
