I spent years being torn apart on the Comics Journal board. Or the House of Knives as I like to call it. Someone once posted a series of pictures of a real kitten being tortured and killed as a response to my work(yes, seriously). After that, it's kind of hard to care.

I highly recommend spending 4 years drawing smut as well. That REALLY inures you.;)
