Way to stick it to Norman, Hank!

Shame that the New Avengers are the designated heroes of Dark Reign, when all they do is repeat the same damn plots since Civil War and just talk, as opposed to actually doing something about Osborn.

He's right. Any Avengers not headed by a founding member or sanctioned by one is illegitimate. Or at least including one. Norman hasn't got a single one.

Strangely, that's debatable. While Pym's Avengers are certainly legitimate, the New Avengers have rightful status based on their founding by Captain America. But Tony Stark is also an original Avenger, and he founded the SHIELD Avengers, which were taken over by new management, an easily foreseen event in an organization run by politicians. (My main argument in believing Tony to not actually being a supergenius in everything.)

Excepting, of course, that it isn't a clavicle. But then, anatomy isn't his strong suit.

What IS that giant Kirby spiky thing on top of Osborn's HQ? Does it have any function, or is it just supposed to look villainous?

It's Sentry's thingamajigger. I've forgotten the name, but it promptly appeared atop the tower as soon as he took up association with the New Avengers.

Does it have a function, or is it just designed to look spiky and Kirbyish?

Nah. The Sentry's watchtower served as the Sentry home and headquarters during New Avengers and his miniseries and I assume he's still using it.

HaHa, Normie got dissed, burned, and pwn'd on live, international TV, if Janet wasn't dead, Normie would Pumpkin Bomb her just for petty payback.

It's good to see the bad guys being the bad guys rather the heroes. It's actually making the comic book... fun. Almost Sonic the Hedgehog fun.

And I just realize something. If Steve does comes back, what will happen to US Soldier (or whatever his name is), will he and Buck duke it out for the title?

US Agent has his own name if thats who you're talking about. But I'd like to see Bucky use the name 'Winter Soldier' again. He's a good fighter, but doesn't excel at the inspiration and leadership that Steve epitomized, and his enthusiastic ruthlessness is in stark contrast to Steve's distaste for killing.

'Winter Soldier' originally referred to Bucky's enslavement by Soviets, however it has attained a new modern meaning. The term is used specifically for honorable soldiers who protest dishonor in war--its meant to contrast to an old poetic line chastising the weak patriotism of the "sunshine soldier and summer patriot", who are only brave and loyal as long as the military is popular and winning.
