	The implication, I think, is that the Super-Pets were formed largely as a way to keep the non-humanoid Legion members out of the rest of the Legion's hair - and Proty is subsequently a bit bitter about it. 	Crisis didn't change the history of the Legion (Aside from Superboy), that was pretty much consistent (if hideously convoluted by the end) until Zero Hour. And even then this was pre-Crisis, Legion of Superheroes 300 in June 1983. Proty II even makes the cover (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
