Which is funny, because down here, if I don't call my coaches "Ma'am" (one of whom is 26) they make me run. It's considered disrepectful to not use it for a person in a position of authority over you. I use it for my teachers, mom, coaches, and most adult women. And I've been called Ma'am by sales people, even though I'm only 16...
