This is older Charlie Brown stuff, right? The art style seems more pure and less streamlined.

In fact, although the Dell comic books featuring Peanuts stories were licensed, Schulz only drew the covers; Dell writers and artists were responsible for the actual stories. More information at Comicartville. As for the time frame, that would be late 1950s through early 1960s.

Huh, that would actually explain a lot about the art style.

And the story and dialogue. This just doesn't feel like something Schultz would write. It's too...kiddie.

I was WONDERING about that writing. That is not Charles "Master Of Four Panels" Schulz writing that.

Charlie Brown looks very cute with the dish on his head.
