Well, of course - there's no doubt that a lot of their costumes are the result of sexism SOMEWHERE down the line - but I just found it interesting that they would bring up the in-universe reason for just WHY one of the costume's actual owners would choose to wear it. Incidentally, on a related issue, I have an old VHS tape with a few episodes of 'BtAS' on it. Before the actual episodes start, there's the usual trailers and toy ads and stuff, and then there's a little mini-commercial for DC Comics itself, with a sexy female voiceover speaking over a montage of comic book panels. Know what the sexy voice says? "DC Comics... the bravest heroes... the most beautiful heroines..." I'd say that wraps up their whole philosophy pretty well, wouldn't you?
