Superman/Batman #60

Reality as is so often in the DCU has been changed with the cities of Gotham and Metropolis having been apparently fused. Superman and Batman notice of course and are attacked due to being unknowns here. After easily surviving an attack by Commissioner White and his police they meet...

...the Justice Titans!

Mash Ups are fun.

We find out in the issue their secret ID names are

Aquaborg: Arthur "Art" Stone
Night Lantern: Hal Grayson.
Donna Wonder: Diana Troy
Hawkbeast: Gar Katar
Flash: Wally Allen
Star Canary's name is sadly not said in the issue.

The groups quickly reconcile and agree to work together and find out about Gothamopolis' mysterious recent killings.

But before that Superman and Batman meet one more interesting Justice Titan!

Terranado! I welcome our newest  DCU gynoid.

Thankfully she isn't a traitor from what I can tell in this universe.

Next a fun scene little scene with Night Lantern and Batman.

Bats then says "I just realized how MUCH they have in common"

And the rest of the issue shows the mysterious killer in Gothamopolis being DoomStroke who's apparently working for Lex Joker.

If her name's Diana Troy, where'd she get "Donna Wonder" from?

...I shouldn't pick.

Donna as in "Lady" in Italian perhaps

Or she just took a forename she liked.

My reaction is: That's the best they could come up with for those two characters? Pfft. Ditto Flash. At least combining Starfire and Black Canary is interesting.

Well yeah. It's one of the big things they tend to do with Supes and Bats narration bubbles.

If the mash-up between Terra and Indigo isn't a traitor, I'll be very surprised.

"It's like a dream!"/"It's a nightmare." has me laughing so hard. Gothamopolis. This is hysterical. You bet Bruce would think it's a nightmare. I'm more surprised at Clark thinking it's like a dream. He's wished for Gotham/Metropolis mash-ups before? Why would he be so pleasantly surprised?

Lex Joker: Lex Luthor would not be amused.

Almost a shame Night Lantern isn't a Blue Lantern.... :)

But I like the "Flying Grayson" angle

"I have a very different relationship with each of them... One of them I care for more deeply than anyone else in my life, the other one I frequently want to slap repeatedly!"

"Which one is which?"

"It varies from day to day"

I like that Flash is *exactly* the same. Makes sense, since he's a titan and a JLA member, but it's still funny.

Night Lantern is my favorite. His costume reminds me of the DCU Nightwing costume! I thought it would be funnier if his name was Green Wing, though.

Lastly, the art on all of this is so pretty!

I like how sparkly Donna Wonder's hair is.

Next I want to see Opal City and Bludhaven mashed up. Or Bludhaven and Bete Noire mashed up. That place would suck.

I can't decide whether or not I like Donna Wonder's costume. I'm not fond of the name, however--Wonder Donna would have sounded so much better.

Is it possible for a character to have a better butt then that?
