The Monkees were, at worst, a thinly veiled Beatles imitation, but at their best they were a comnedy/rock quartet that had a popular sitcom for several years.In all honesty, I can admit that I truly found the TV show to be quite hilarious at times. Like almost all hit shows of the 1950s or 1960s, Dell Comics jumped on the bandwagon and licensed a comic series based upon it; no surprise when you consider that it's DELL we're talking about.
