Hopefully it's easier to read now. *Face palms* I forgot what a pain those scans were to re-size. They've been sitting in my scrap book since I first post them to scans_daily.

I hope it comes back.

Goddess, I have a copy of this somewhar. It amused me. Then again, I read it in the mid-90s...I think if I read it again now, it'd crack me the fuck up.

I, as well. Hardcover, at that.

Mine's hardcover, too...until checking the wikipedia article, I thought it was ONLY in hardcover.

I am also surprised it made it into a second printing. But that was the fad for those few months...remember the digital Iron Man?

I have not read Iron Man: Crash, though it apparently came out 2 years before Digital Justice, so it was a surprisingly long-lived fad.

I find it kind of funny, actually, that there were a few books that used it as a gimmick, then it went away, because everybody thought it was a stupid gimmick...and now the techniques are becoming common, without any actual fanfare.

Well, cause the future is NOW! Back then it was OMGWOW!

What amuses me most, though, is the transition from 'OMGWOW!' to 'Jesus, that's a stupid idea' to 'that's a completely valid and unremarkable technique'.

I'm darn glad I knew about this place. Does anyone know what exactly happened?

Also that artwork is creeping me out for some reason.

Thanks. I don't think lj html would work here anyway.

I'm kind of neutral towards it myself. It does go into my dislike of hardcover books (and Devil's Due keeps making me get them to get the final issue of their arcs!), but I do give them credit for something different, and I kind of dig the Batsymbol.

(Man, I still can't use a real screenname. Darn Wordpress's Open ID.)

I recall receiving a copy of this for review. At the time, it was billed as the first entirely digital graphic novel.
