The "I just saw X-men: Origins Wolverine." Post. Spoilers
So last night me my sister and our friend went to see the midnight showing of Wolverine.
My thoughts and a contextless scan under the cut.

Okay first off I went to see this movie wearing my Deadpool button and my custom made
Deadpool dogtag so you know why I went to see it. And the Wade Wilson fun in the begining was worth the eight bucks alone to me. The ending parts with Deadpool aka Wepon XI were fairly cool and the after credit "shh" made me squee like a little girl. But this is a movie about Wolverine.

And it was good. Not great. Not spectacular. But fun enough to entertain me for a few hours.

The acting and the basic story were all decent. All the actors seemed to take this seriously and wished to make something good. As did the director and the writer. But the whole thing lacks polish. So any faults I ascribe to the studio being cheap bastards. They took a franchise that was a certain money maker and decided to half ass the editing and effects. But the actors at least tried thier best.

3 out of five for me. But Wade Wilson is a definite 10. If they make a Deadpool movie it won't matter how much the studio half asses it as long as Ryan Renolds is staring it will be gold to me.

And for legality.

	This was one of the quintessential stories in Marvel history and they broke my heart with how i was done. This had potential to be SO awesome and was rich with content to pull from, but they just flushed it down the toilet. (Reply to this)

	I thought it was alright. One thing though: If you're going to the movie to see all the people featured in the trailers, prepare to be dissapointed; this is pretty much the Wolverine/sabertooth action hour, and most of the other characters only get a few minutes of screentime before they are killed or walk out of the story. 	No, you see, cos that wasn't Emma Frost. And the other guy sure as hell wasn't Deadpool. I'm willing to admit that the kid might have been Cyclopse, but that's as far as I'll go. 	I have to remind myself that it's a Wolverine movie and not a Deadpool movie... but still. I was pretty mad when they fucked up Wade in the end. I was just like "NOOOOOOOOOOO. You DO NOT do that to the Merc with a mouth!" Buuuuut Logan was made of awesome, so that counts for something. :D (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Well if they do make a Deadpool movie, which there's rumblings about, the ending could set it up okay. He could lose the powers other than healing recuperating, and get cancer from falling into a nuclear reactor! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I liked it. But as a fanboy, the injustices to Wade's character kept me from loving it.

To a random movie-goer, the changes in DP won't matter but I kept thinking "Why the fuck didn't they just use Mimic?"

The main Wolvie plot was decent and Jackman put his heart into it. And even as a straight guy I gotta say, the dude was carved out of marble. LS was amazing as Sabretooth. His understated psychopath was great. Plus the opening montage was killer.

RR IS Deadpool. If they do his own movie, he'll shine. That katana scene was bad-ass. The final fight was cool too but it wasn't Deadpool. Where's his chaotic fighting style? Where's the constant banter?

7.5 out of 10.

Worth seeing.

	I thought it was pretty good. not great, but good. I went through the various glaring problems that I had and decided that they weren't actually all that glaring, and leave plenty for future films to work with. (Reply to this)
