Adventures of Superman #561
I thought this was a cute scene between Clark and Lois.

Clark, your dreams are weird. Lois would NEVER give up her career. Not the Silver Age, man.

But Clark messing up Lo's hair and her playfully socking him with the pillow was adorable.

Yes very adorble and I would think that lois would have clark as a stay at home dad first.

Actually I think the only one qualified enough to take care of the children of those two is Alfred, for he is all that is awesome.

"Umm, dog."

Way to avoid giving her ideas, Clark.

So... Clark wants kids, thinks Lois doesn't want kids, and thinks Lois will give up her career...? You have definitely been dreaming, Clark.

I wonder what it smells like when Clark "shaves", I've only seen him do that when he's been alone. Maybe burning Kryptonian hair doesn't reek as badly as does Terran hair? At least he doesn't have to clean the sink when he's done...

When the Parasite was posing as Lois (a sequence which was...incredibly weird, and someone should post from it if they haven't already) fake!Lois complains about waking up to the smell of burning hair every morning. I suspect it smells terrible, but Lois loves it because it's a part of living with the man she loves, like someone loving the smell of grease on the hands of a mechanic they're married to.

Yum, Grummett art. Looks a little different, I wonder if that's a different inker and colorist than I'm used to seeing.

I wonder if that hairdryer is the same one she used against that OMAC?

I love little sequences like this. The flirting and the pillow and the hair and everything. And I kind of like Clark with the whited-out glasses, it looks neat.

Insert my standard "yes Lois and Clark should have kids but superpowers won't be a problem until the kids are teenagers just like Clark" speech here. They'd make such awesome parents. Lois is Lois and she's got her sister Lucy and Martha Kent for tips; Clark is Clark and he's got Jonathen Kent as an example of great dad, and Bruce Wayne and Ollie Queen as examples of not-so-great dads. Plus I bet they both have Alfred Pennyworth on speed-dial.

Also: Aunt Diana, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Zee. Any kid with Justice League connections would have the best damn selection of babysitters in the history of the job.

Yes, them too! Any children of Lois and Clark would be very smart cookies already, but with Diana and Jeff and the rest, they would positively be geniuses. (And I bet Bruce would offer a few lessons on forensics and so forth.)

Any kid with Justice League connections would have the best damn selection of babysitters in the history of the job.

Indeed. And that's what upsets me about all those "Lian Harper gets kidnapped again" stories, like in Outsiders. You'd think just one thug would go "You know, this Arsenal guy is like two degrees away from Superman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter. Maybe we should not kidnap his daughter?"

Come to think of it, wouldn't J'onn be pretty good at babysitting? The telepathy and shapeshifting would be useful, I think.
