Just threaten to drop someone off a tall building and you’ll be amazed at how much eccentric clothing choices enhance your apparent unpredictability.
Words of wisdom!
I am also with you on the melting into Dick's arms. They just seem like healthy people. Actually, looking at it now makes me think of Tim after he and Dick fight at the Lazarus Pit. Only in this situation Jason is a kid and Dick is an older boy and friend who's just being a good guy.
::sigh:: They're all so responsible and not self-destructive or hurtful to each other.
It's weird in the way it seems like the biggest difference between then and now is somebody said, like Christian Bale in Batman Begins, "A guy who dresses up as a bat and fights crime...as issues." And from there also came the "It's immoral to bring children into it" which sometimes to be really a cover for "Good father's aren't bad ass enough!" which led to Batman being a bad father or excuses for why Robin makes it "unrealistic."
Also, while I still just can't get past the whole "He's a trapeze artist just like you!" origin, I really like the fact that a trapeze artist gives him the skills to be Robin. It bugs me the way now they take so many (male) characters and act like three people with totally different backgrounds and years of study can be at basically the same level of acrobat/ninja.
