The first issue was great! Cindy is my favorite Fables character and I'm happy to see her getting her own mini.

Shawn McManus is so very much made of WIN!

I love this, even though I'm an accursed trade-waiter, and whilst I'm generally a bit wary of how the Fables franchise has expanded in recent years (1001 Nights of Snowfall was great, not so much Jack of Fables or the recent mini that kicked off the Great Fables Crossover), I love what Willingham did with Cinderella, and it's looking pretty solid here, too.

It's probably a Monday.

The Marquis hates Mondays.

I don't think he meant it literally. It's a lyric from a song called "I Don't Like Mondays".

So it's just a case of mixed references, which is like a mixed metaphor but worse.

I too am excited about this miniseries. I am enjoying the expansion of the Fables-verse very much though. I highly recommend Peter & Max, and I have to say I hope this series does well enough for Willingham and DC to consider a Cinderella ongoing.

I'm so getting the trade of this, Cinderella is awesome, I've loved the bits of Fables focusing on her, so this mini makes me very happy.

The bit with the bracelet reminds me so much of Pokemon, it's not even funny.

"arriviste bullshit", heh.

I'll be getting the trade of this (that's how I follow Vertigo; I generally avoid trade-waiting, but I find their stories are really meant to be read that way, for the most part). Cindy's a favourite of mine.

Love this mini series.

Although some of the art here bugs me. Puss and boots does not look as regal as he has.

You know, I just realized what skills might make Cindy such a useful spy.

She used to be a domestic in her own home. She knows how to be discrete, and not bring attention to herself when necessary. ...Who pays attention to the domestics?
