First Wave

This is taken from the Source.

Not much info is given, but I assume this is an alternate Earth story where it is still the Golden Age. Doc Savage, the Spirit, and a golden age style Batman seem to be the main cast.

OK, I am officially interested now. I'm a sucker for the Golden Age. Give me a world where men still wear fedoras and women sing in nightclubs wearing slinky dresses, a world where cops have Irish accents and every mob boss is based on either Cagney or Edward G. Robinson, a world with kid sidekicks and cab drivers wearing derby hats and fiendish, cackling villains - give me such a world, I say, and I am a happy camper. I'm looking forward to this.
