I'd say a lot of 'the Godfather Part 2' is in there as well, in the "gangster has a punk relative who pushes the neighbourhood around until someone kills him" way. Though that happened in the 20s, this is 1960.
Still, at least Ennis didn't lift entire sections out of the 'Godfather' movies and 'Goodfellas' like Jeph Loeb did in 'the Long Halloween' and 'Dark Victory'.
