My latest acquisition!

I may not like the story much (in fact I'd already given up on the title by this point), but this was a fun cover. Scott Mcdaniel's art has never looked better (before or since) than when he was drawing Nightwing/

So I was pleased to see this Chris Giarrusso re-do of it. I've been wanting a Chris G piece for a while, whilst this is an acquisition rather than a personal commission, who cares? It's adorable! :)

For some reason, I just love that little bat down the front. I think Dick should have had a pet bat when he was Nightwing, it could have gone with him on missions, carried a little camera around it's neck as a spy. He could have called it Bruce the Batbat! (Look, if Dr Mid-Nite can have "Hooty the Owl", I have no problem with Dick having a bat named Bruce as a sidekick!)

	Nightwing was the strongest start to a book in my lifetime the first 35 issues are true gold. It pains me to think of how it went out... :( (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Well, the last 14 issues under Tomasi were great fun... And besides, look at Bruce the happy Batbat on those covers, how can you feel down with him beaming out at you? (Reply to this) (Parent)

Maybe not that much for spying, but for getting good shots of Grayson-Bondage. ... well, I guess that'd only be a different kind of spying.
