Yes this is supposed to be a poignant and sad moment in the comic....i know. but I'm kinda pissed at that misogynistic guy.....its like "god i can't believe they killed off blue beetle....that's so ummmmm who is this guy and why is he acting like a condescending women-hater?" I know he's supposed to be grieving or whatever, but a part of me is hoping Wonder Women decks him in the face. "Yes you've got a body to die for and i could stare at your rack for hours-" Seriously??? Could you be more of a condescending douchebag?to Wonder Women?? i wanted her to rip off his pathetic little green latern ring and shove his whole finger up his own ass......
Wow srry i just got way off topic.Maybe the author was going for a mood whiplash type thing, one minute your sad about beetle's death....the next your wishing a comic book character suffer immensely for being a misogynist. or maybe the guy was just grieving...IDK. Those first two pages pretty much sum up everything I hate about what comic writers did to Batman and the comic writers who did that themselves. Batman should be very flawed yes, but should never cause the deaths of possible millions with body-jacking technology and friends because of paranoia and never even give one damn apology to boot.

Hell, reading this I just wish he got killed and everyone else clapped. I'll be watching BTATB to remind myself why I like the character.

As much as some people keep blasting Guy for insulting Diana (and have good reason to), he's making the same point that Booster did about Batman not admitting he was wrong.
As someone said above, Batman and Wonder Woman are A-listers, and Beetle, Booster, and Guy are C-listers. One of their own has died, and they feel as if the A-listers were negligent and could have prevented Ted's death. As much as Guy may respect WW, he's pissed off. If she couldn't have been bothered to help Ted while he was alive, what business of hers is it now that he's dead. Guy believes that C-listers have to help themselves because they get no respect from the top.
The main point of his statement isn't about WW's rack. It's "you're not one of us."
Sorry, but I got to stick up for my favorite Lantern. He's an asshole, but sometime he tells it like it is. ;)

Y'know, I totally understand Guy's reaction here. Diana was really never part of their league (afaik), she was one of the ones Ted talked to about the investigation and she still didn't offer to help or anything, and now that Ted walked into a meatgrinder blind, the Big Three think it's suddenly important enough, because they're mainly trying to cover up Batman's massive incompetence. (seriously. He built a killer satellite and lost control of it. How is he not officially a supervillain now?)

Batman's lack of compassion at the beginning is glacial and astounding, and probably not even in character.

Seriously, not even using Ted's name, and pulling out his broken goggles like a party trick? That's borderline psychotic.

Although I agree that Guy would react to this tragedy by pulling some people closer and violently pushing others away, I think most of the reactions and emotions we see in this are cartoonish, exaggerated, and fundamentally disconnected from the actual characters.
