	IIRC that's more or less the context, Aviax devolves his morph into a reptilian winged being... I can't recall why though, I'm still slightly surprised I can remember that these are the Wanderers in their updated 1980's forms; Dartalon, Psyche, Reanimage, Quantum Queen and the Elvar, with Aviax off panel. 	I think it was because there was radiation or something and all the dinosaur life on the planet was very slowly (like over many generations) dying.. but he was resistant to radiation, and so if he mated with dinosaurs and added his rad-resistant genes to the gene pool, they'd be able to survive.
