Heroes of the H-Mansion (1 of 10 or so)

This webcomic has been floating around so long I'm surprised nobody ever translated it.

Done by Gurihiru, a Japanese artist team best known for their work on POWER PACK, it's a very irreverent take on the Marvel Universe, if the characters all lived in the same apartment building.

I've translated the title liberally as HEROES OF THE H-MANSION, but as with a lot of things in this project, I've taken a lot more liberties than I deserve. If there's any real groaners in here, I may well have put them in overzealously.

This is not to my knowledge a licensed Marvel Comic in any way. Even in the original dialogue, the actual names of characters are meticulously avoided. It appears a Japanese fansite of American comics called Planet Comics commissioned the work and it stopped updating around two years ago. Still, there's around 30 comics to get through. You can check out the original site here -

So that's enough preamble. Enjoy, but avoid at all costs if you're deeply attached to any of these characters. You may find them unrecognisable, in some cases, adorably so ...

I might use my blog as a repository for this project, but if there's interest, I'll put it all here too. I'm planning to add some translation notes and do the cast page too, adding characters as they appear. If that sort of thing interests you, hop along - http://daniellau.wordpress.com

Oh, and tell me if the text is illegible. It seems to get jaggy if I make it bigger ...
