With his new powers, the Human Flame (now calling himself the Inhuman Flame) grows larger and larger until he can't move.

I so love this series. In my mind it's been the best of the Aftermath series. (Escape is a close second.)

Of course, there's no way this prison could possibly go wrong. ;)

(I am a little disturbed by the whole "You're not human, so you don't get rights" spiel from Firestorm, especially since what got Mike Miller into this mess was the death of Martian Manhunter. But yeah.)

I loke Dance, its like a good Teen Titans. The only problem is that the tech means it will age really badly

Superbat is good.

The rest of the team is awful, and undeserving of pagetime. The villains are lackluster. The premise doesn't have enough meat to last the entire mini.

As BKV rightfully pointed out on his old messageboard, comics will become dates no matter what you do. Even if you don't include overt references to the latest in the cutting-edge contemporary technology, you'll still have to deal with clothing, hairstyles, narrative techniques, background details. Like films, comics will always reflect the time in which it was created - the only question is just how overt it will be.

I guess the closer to 'force of nature' you get and further away from the capability of normal imprisonment people just starting handwaving those rights.

He might have meant that he's no longer human in the sense of humanity. Not as a physical being... but he no longer acted human? I dunno.

No, he's not a person. Make that transition from person to monster and you're pretty much fucked.

Escape has been good, but I think I enjoyed it more because I was/am a fan of the old Prisoner show, which it is copying pretty heavily.

Ink has been the best one of the Aftermaths to me so far, although the last issue was disappointing. I really couldn't stand Dance, but I know others love it. To each their own.

Something is seriously wrong with me now. I can't take any sentence with the word 'justice' in it seriously.

Case in point, "... You can't elude JUSTIIIICEEEE".

We can BE justice!

Yeah...JUSTICE!

This isn't JUSTICE!

I agree, James Robinson can leave scars.

So that "Why didn't he make himself smaller?"/"It didn't occur to him" exchange...that was a pre-emptive strike, wasn't it? *eyeroll*

It'd be interesting if the writers remember the mass-energy conversion issues (for ONCE). If the guy has to do a massive energy dump to shrink again (which admittedly would conveniently burn off those rods), does he run the risk of creating a high enough temperature to manage to immolate himself?

Mike Miller can't immolate himself; he's now a pure energy being.

Actually, space is a really good insulator. And they don't have anything on that asteroid that resembles an effective heat-sink. Maybe they should think about replacing Martian Manhunter with an astronomer. Or physicist.

So... is that a real cellphone that just happens to be interacting with the GL aura, or is it a construct that can magically take pictures and send them around and stuff?

Well, I knew that, but I just wondered if it was really able to send pictures (which is what, I presume, he was planning to do--send it around to Superman and stuff) over some sort of magical GL internet or something. That was the part that confused me.

I like the response about Cingular right below this one, though. XD

He has Cingular's Universe Plan.

More bars on more planets. Verizon had a decent interstellar plan, but after it was discovered that "Can you hear me now?" is a deadly insult implying horrible things about mothers on Rigel 47, and the inhabitants strung Verizon's executive board up by their giblets, it's been all Cingular.
