Is anyone else getting a "Batman: Knightfall" vibe from of this storyline? Essentially, what it looks like we're having here is the hero gets attacked by members of his rogues gallery one after the other and, as a result, gets so physically exhausted that the new villain comes in and nearly defeats him. The only difference here, I think, is that it's not a coordinated effort by the villain under a mastermind, merely that the new villain in question just takes the opportunity of Spidey's weakened condition to strike. And I believe the new villain, or villains in this case, are Kraven the Hunter's first wife and their daughter, Ana (the same characters from Guggenheim's "Kraven's First Hunt" arc) and based on that first image from issue #600, it looks like their "Spider-Hunt" might have something to do with not only getting revenge on Spider-Man but also bringing back the original Kraven as well.
And yeah, I predict the following: that Ana is going to kill or capture Arana; Electro will destory the Daily Bugle in his battle with Spider-Man leaving Peter having to help Betty look for a new job; Sandman becomes a villain because his Spidey accidentally causes his "daugther" (that girl shown on with Sandman on that one cover) to "die" who probably is a sentient sand being similar to that New Batman Adventures episode where Clayface created a little girl to be his scout; and the Rhino battles and kills a new Rhino, but at the cost of dying himself; and that Spidey will wind up in two relationships at the same time, one with Black Cat as Spider-Man and another as Peter with someone else (probably with Michele of all people) but later winds up having a night of sympathy sex with MJ.
