Ultimate Peter Parker isn't just 15, he's a young-looking 15. IIRC, a lot of fans said Peter's voice the Ultiamte Spider-Man video game made him sound 11 or 12 instead of 15 or 16.

Wolverine's shoulders are also nearly twice as broad as Parker's are. Peter's a lanky teenager, regardless of height, while Logan's a short and stocky man.

Either way, the retching was a bit much. An indignant rant about being 'just a kid' would have done just fine.
