Hey, everybody! Unfortunately due to various reasons what was once a character cut on my end has become the decision for departure. I know it's very sudden, especially when I just put up the parade post, but I realized I just can't delay this any longer. I'm really sorry. It was truly a pleasure getting to write with all of you and I seriously had a wonderful time. Each of you and your characters are frigging AMAZING. Thank you for letting me be a part of it and my best to all of you. All my love to MJ for running a pretty fantastic game and leading us on some epic adventures. It was some of the best times in writing that I ever had and I owe that to you. It's been a great eleven months.
Kiona: Moves back to the west coast and spends pretty much the rest of her life there. She travels and continues working, eventually moving to Portland to open a flower shop. She meets and falls in love with another shopkeeper named Lauren and they live a happy, long life together with many adopted runts. She stays in contact with Siobhan and Nico.
Gabe: Remains in New Waverly as Rip van Winkle until he graduates from high school. He ends up moving back home to California to live near his mother, where he continues to act on the ideals that Alice had taught him. In his adult years he works with youth organizations and is regularly referred to as the cool counselor. Safe to say he never strays far from his puckish ways and eventually marries his longtime boyfriend.
AdiĆ³s: Dies at the age of 33, no thanks to the high stakes world of superhuman assassins. Before she dies, though, she releases a couple more chart-topping, grammy-winning albums and tries her hand at film. It doesn't go so well. She fires her Razzie award out of a bazooka into the home of John J. B. Wilson.
Vance: Remains a superhero in New Waverly for a couple more years until he gets his bachelor's degree. He opts instead to split his time between furthering his education in medicine and working in DC for superhuman rights. After being a doctor for twelve years, he becomes the first superhuman elected into congress, where he uses his position to argue for superhuman causes, forming the Flordeliza Fonseca Foundation for super teens in need. He marries, but it doesn't work and the divorce is amicable. To the end of his life, he remains Felix's favorite person to embarrass, eventually getting a few iconic moments himself when the tables turn.
Edith: Moves to Wales with Tristan where they commence the next, quieter chapter of their lives. They start a family and continue on both personal and professional paths to help children in need. She is never contacted by or contacts her father, who leaves prison in mid-2015, but she obviously remains close to Julian, Frank, and Siobhan the rest of her life. Due to various health issues, she dies in her early 60's.
Hassan: After a few more years of teaching in NKN, Hassan returns to Egypt in order to fight the increasingly stringent laws against superhumans and to help some of his siblings who have shown signs of power. He becomes a prominent figure in the Middle East's disputes about supers rights and is assassinated at 47. However, his cause does not die with him and others take up the mantle.
Sam: Travels the world with and marries Siobhan. That August dreamworld was, in their case, a bit of a premonition. They have two children named Daniel and Cemile. Sam returns to the military and retires as a Marine Corp colonel many years later while Siobhan pursues her own personal passions. His relationship with Evren improves over time, but they are both forever changed.
Violet: Gone, but never forgotten, the passing of her and her brother sends ripples of change throughout the world. They may not be there to see it, but they have had more of an impact on the lives of those around them than they could have ever known.
Basically most of these morons go into superhuman rights activism of some sort or another.
