The cops probably should have thought that through a little more; but then again, Regin knew better than to make a break for it. That'd just mean chases and more questions and possible harassment that she didn't NEED in her life.
"Ma'am, can you give us a statement?"
"I like how you folks pretend that we have a choice in the matter..." Shaking her head, she followed the cop who asked her that out of the room. She also thanked god that none of the big bits followed her--though some bolts clattered after her like ducklings. She felt Adalina's eyes on her back, but shrugged it off. Or tried.
The statement was short and sweet. Bobby was insane, he tried to kill Adalina. Regin tried to stop him--she wasn't going to say she was going to LET him, she wasn't STUPID--and then he'd magnetized her and trapped her. She survived because she was a super and yes she was registered, and... and that was it. Wasn't it? Yes. Time to go home.
"Oh and... I don't want my name released. At all."
