Ciara’s hands came up in a semi defensive gesture, as if she were warding off the implications of his question. Why was she asking? Because she was curious. Wanted to know where she could find him if she decided she wanted to make sure he had enough shelter, food, water, all of the things necessary to survive comfortably that she highly doubted he ever really had on a daily basis. Things she was sure he wouldn’t want to accept from her if she tried to give them. But she didn’t say any of that, because she didn’t want to spook him, make him not want to tell her.
“Just, you know, in case I was in the area I could say hi,” she told him, partially the truth. Although, she didn’t usually frequent areas like this often. Something that would change in the future if she knew where Christian was living - they weren't friends, of course, but that didn't mean she didn't care what happened to him. Maybe she thought he could use a friend, even if that friend happened to be prickly her, and she wondered if he knew Lora.
