Christian was struggling with placing her. He had started to wonder about her though. He listened to her and Wolf bicker so much when they were on patrols that he should have been able to place her quickly but he just wasn't in the mindset for it. His thoughts were entirely on getting his friend fed and reeling with plans about the second meal.
His eyes met hers with a normal awkwardness, nothing about him suggested that he knew what was going on here. Probably better for it because he might have had a mini heart attack if he realized he was talking to someone he'd been trying very hard to keep the truth from.
"No, just anything is fine." Because she knew who he was now she probably knew that he had no intention of eating anything she gave him no matter how much he wanted to. He was the kind of kid on raids that always gave spare change to the homeless they passed and made a real effort to give all of himself. A true altruist. Knowing his situation made it a little more meaningful, as well, but that was just his personality and he didn't think there was anything special or noteworthy about it.
McGuire spoke up after a moment of looking between the two of them, "Why don't you go with the girl and help her carry things?" and Christian looked over at the man with big accusatory eyes like 'why are you DOING THIS TO ME' it was the typical kind of look you'd give a friend that put you on the spot. He tried his best to communicate his unease to the other man with his eyes but when he turned back to the woman he shrugged noncommitaly "I could, if you want." and he grabbed the strap of his backpack from the ground, pulling it onto his shoulder as he pulled himself up to stand. Even if he wasn't going to go with her he could do with a stretch.
