There was no way in hell Ciara was just going to buy one of them breakfast. She doubted either of them had eaten, though she supposed it was possible. The look on her face was skeptical as she looked them over, debating the best way to insist it had to be both of them. Plus, he was a kid! She wasn't about to agree to that, but she waited until he'd managed to get the guy awake.
"Have you eaten today then?" she asked the kid, trying not to let her usual grouchiness seep into the words. Not the easiest task when she was tired and just the tiniest bit more cranky than usual. But these weren't the people she needed to take that out on. "Because if you haven't, don't worry about it."
Ciara wasn't made of money or anything, but she had enough that buying two people who probably really did need a decent meal wouldn't be a big deal at all. And even if it meant she might not have that money to buy her own food later, that was alright with her. Some people needed things more than she did, and since she currently had some cash to spare, why not put it to good use?
"I'll get you anything you want," she said, hoping both of them would take her up on it.
