Elle wasn't sure how she felt about therapy. It wasn't doing much for her - but that was mostly for the fact that she wasn't telling them anything. Her reports probably read something along the lines of uncooperative and quiet. But that didn't matter - they were there to talk about abilities and whatnot, not her life or problems right? So she kept the content to centered around that, and nothing else. They didn't need to know anything else. She didn't have any problems. Elle was perfect content. She knew what she was doing and how to keep it a secret. She wore mostly baggy clothes, which was perfect for winter time.
But now she was headed off to the art room. She needed some of the supplies for a project she had to do in one of her classes. She was sure she could do it at home, but she was starting to pull away there too. School was demanding, wasn't it? The art room had much better supplies anyway, and Elle hitched her backpack up on her shoulder and headed off in it's general direction. She took her sweet time, too, peeking in other classrooms and the Gym to see what everyone was doing. She loved to people watch - it was probably her favorite past time. She had spent nearly the first ten years of her life sheltered and incapable of really observing people other than the ones in her church, who she found now to be big liars and hypocritical. Real people were far more interesting.
When she came upon the art room she found that it wasn't empty. There was already another boy in there, who looked to be messing around with paints or something. She came up closer, completely oblivious to the fact that staring over his shoulder might not be the most appropriate way to approach someone or let your presence be known. In fact she had walked in so quietly it was possible he might not have heard her at all. She just stood there watching him methodically, before she finally spoke up. "What's that supposed to be?"
