It was a common-known fact that superstar Adiós Sandoval had experienced her share of hard times. Her dear, poor sweet back-up dancer husband Eric had been brutally and unfairly murdered this day six years ago and like any decent widow, she'd taken to dressing entirely in black, eating out at only one of the most popular venues in New Waverly just so everyone could be entirely certain she was still grieving. Of course, the thing that no one ever knew was how she fired two rounds in his chest when she caught him cheating on her with Larry and then used Roxana Vega to pin the double homicide on a poor, schizophrenic homeless man who was now spending life in a psychiatric hospital. That had been the start of a great friendship for the two Syndicate murderers. It wasn't that she even loved Eric (really, love? gross). But he hadn't put her first and that infuriated her. She was a queen and he had pissed on her throne. With her ridiculous hat perched on the seat beside her, she twirled the prongs of her fork on her plate, looking particularly lost and heartbroken. Inside, however, she was bored. After killing that vice president of what-have-you in Uruguay, she'd been keeping quiet, working on her next studio album and mostly avoiding starting anymore abhorrent charity events for this stupid city. No, she wanted to play. Play with an unsuspecting mouse - a fan or a fool - who wiggled his or her way over into her very obvious trap. And they would provide her such a good time. She'd make certain of that. |
