Alice was a chipper girl, sometimes too sarcastic and sometimes a little harsh, but overall she was altruistic. When she saw the kinds of people she grew up around, the unfortunates who couldn't even claw their way into the middle class she hurt in a place deep in her heart and she knew she had to do whatever she could to help them. Her loyalty to the less fortunate was only overshadowed by her loyalty to superhuman kind.
You could call her a superhuman supremacist if you wanted but if you asked her she would say she's just sticking up for her people with the balls that no one else seemed to want to strap on. She would never turn an innocent human unfortunate away from her helping hand but if she had to choose who to save she'd chose the super every time. If she didn't, who else would? That's what her vigilante group was about, standing up for the people that the government was failing. Her band of misfit children cloaked in the mystique of fairytales would bring a change to the world in ways no one else could.
True to her nature, Alice was out in the storm ready to play another game of save the citizen. Her intentions and her leadership were true but she tended to cover up some of her goodness with a rough around the edges exterior. It was all empty blase. She cared. About everything. Or else she wouldn't be Alice. She conjured the hallucination of her mask. It wasn't the same one every time but certainly she liked this one for it's absolute terror aspect. The thing about her masks was flexibility. Only the people she wanted to see them saw them, so innocent citizens only saw her. Most adult males, people in suits, police...all of those people saw the mask. And if you see the mask you can just cower or start walking away because she'll unleash hell on people that go against her or try and hurt people.
Night was setting in fast and Alice was in Utopia after getting the latest flash flood warning. She had to help people find places to tuck away that were above flood level so they wouldn't catch the flu. Sometimes the best she could do was sit with a group of people and give them the illusion that they're warm with a roof over their head. Now she was sitting next to an old woman on the curb who refused to leave. The woman of course couldn't see the hideous mask that Alice's enemies would see so she was comfortable talking to the nice young girl who was trying to help her. "We really should get you inside, y'know?" she repeated again but it was no use. The woman said she was waiting for her son to pick her up but Alice knew her, she'd been waiting at this time for her son to pick her up every single day for the last ten years. He was never coming. This was the exact situation she'd brought her actual umbrella for and she opened it above the woman's head, taking her hand and putting it around the handle "This is for you, keep it."
Then she thought she heard someone approaching, she whipped her head over to deliver a piercing stare through the rain in the direction she heard the sound. Mask up.
