Who: Frank and Chase What: He has a customer! When: Aug. 20, wed. Afternoon Where: Chase's cafe Warnings: none Status: ongoing
Chase's cat cafe was a thing of beauty. He'd worked a lot of hard hours as a male entertainer to get the money for this place but it was so worth it. The place when you entered looked like a normal starbucks-esque cafe with a counter of baked goods and espresso machines with various flavorings hidden in counters and a menu posted up on the wall. There were seats in this area for eating and then once you were done with your food and drinks you could pay a couple extra dollars to go bask in the cat room.
Chase didn't care if you brought a book and just hung out on one of the couches. There were rules posted on the wall with pictures of each of the cats and their names along with their temperaments and some rules about which cats to or to not pick up and things like that. Overall it was just a giant lounging room full of cats. Drinks were allowed only if they had a lid, but no food.
It seemed like the town received his dream very well and when he wasn't macking on his neighbor and enemy Arkin in angry fits in the back alley he was here entertaining all his guests. Of course Chase didn't consider anything going on with Arkin to be real. It was just some weird mistake they kept making. Chase was into women. It's a very complicated situation and he'd rather not talk about it, in fact he'd like to stop thinking about it, too.
This Wednesday was a slow one but he didn't mind. He had a window inbetween the cafe area and the cat lounge where he could see through if a customer came to order a drink or something. When there weren't any customers he mostly stuck to the cat lounge and enjoyed their fluffy company. He was even known to chat up some of his customers in here, for some reason a couple of them were always interested in getting to know more about him. He didn't think he was interesting at all.
