Lizzy watched him as he let go, the look on his face making her wonder just how often he touched people. By the movement of his hand that she had touched, she guessed not that often. But then again, with the surge that had flown effortlessly from his touch when they had shook hands, she wouldn’t be surprised if he shocked everyone he touched. This realization dawned on her, but she kept her discovery silent. It wasn’t something that needed to be talked about.
Suddenly, an older man had made his way over. She watched as the two seemed to argue quietly, raising an eyebrow. The new arrival seemed to not even realize that she was there, though that didn’t matter to her. Finally, whatever they had been speaking about, they had come to an agreement of sorts. The man glanced at Lizzy before walking away, but she hardly looked at him. For some reason, she wasn’t surprised that he had someone watching him.
He began conversation once more, though Lizzy merely shrugged it off. “I only go there when needed, and I don’t hang around,” She said simply, and it was true. Looking down at the box of adapters, she sighed, and decided to pick it up, setting it off to side where it had been before. Today was becoming a slow day. She had made a few sales earlier in the morning, but no one had passed by in the last half hour, except for him and his buddy. Looking at him once more, she decided she would entertain his conversation.
“I’m guessing you go there often, then? What’s your name?” She asked casually.
