Who: Mink and Charlie What: Random meeting aka trapped together When: 6/23 Monday morning Where: a restaurant Mink is wishing he never went in Warnings: none Status: ongoing
Things were going more than well and better than swell. Ever since Mink took the pill that cured him of all his power related problems he'd been on top of the world. Not to mention he took a trip to the moon with his first endeavor with a real live person of his preferred gender. As far as he was concerned there wasn't a single thing that could make life better now. He was even getting to the point where he was thinking about what his next project would be. It was about time he got back into the limelight where he belonged.
With all the weight lifted off of him from the last three years and his desire to act renewed he couldn't imagine anything going wrong.
That is until the buser at the lovely restaurant where he decided to have brunch led him to his table. He froze for a moment, a step behind the woman, staring down at the figure of a man that...well....he recognized. It took him a long minute to tame his deer in headlights look and remind himself that he was different now. He could be honest because he was strong.
He kept reminding himself of the rush of power he'd gotten just days before in realizing that he did indeed have power over some men... so why not himself? He caught up to the buser and sat down in his seat but when he got a better look at the man seated at the table next to him he felt a familiar rush of second thoughts. The contented squeal of a baby did him in.
"Wait miss---" he held up a hand, shifting in his seat like he was going to jump up and just run away... but she didn't hear him. He sighed and lowered himself fully into the chair, not paying any attention to Charlie. He intentionally, after accidentally catching his eye (he was sure of it), turned to look up at a corner of the ceiling. As if that wasn't obvious entirely. How awkward this was. So much for his rush of power and strength.... and so much for avoiding all his powered past.
