What: A party Taylor invited Felix to.
When: Last Saturday evening
Rating: Maybe adult (what, it's a party, there could be hook ups)
Status: In progress!
Felix spent far longer getting ready on Saturday evening than she'd admit. She tried on a few different outfits, and eventually settled on her leather pants and a purple blouse that was just a little bit see through. She thought it was the correct amount of sexy and confident and casual--she'd been the most overdressed person in the room before and it wasn't fun. Although, she supposed she didn't have to worry about it too much.
Taylor, the girl who worked at Target who had invited her out to this party, already said she was pretty. She was basically the whole reason Felix was going to this party. Felix had kind of had a thing for the cute cashier at Target for ages, so when Taylor had come into The Boombox for a coffee and invited her to a party, it had been very welcome. Felix considered working up the nerve every time she went to Target, after all, but never quite managed. So of course Felix had accepted, even though she doubted she'd know anyone else at the party. That didn't bother her too much, really. Felix was okay with small talk. In fact, parties were kind of her thing because people rarely wanted to get serious at a party. It was perfect. But still nerve-wracking.
With the butterflies in her stomach going crazy, Felix made her way to the house party in Ryde Hall, greeted the drunks hanging out by the door, and began wandering through the party. She'd brought vodka coolers with her, and she opened one as she began to make her way through the house, looking for Taylor. It didn't take long to find her.
Felix spotted her from across the room, and headed over. No point being coy. As soon as she was close enough, she reached out and touched Taylor, putting her hand gently on the other girl's arm as she smiled shyly.
"Hey."
