Who: Felix and Ciara When: Monday, May 5, night, 10pm ish Where: A kind of cruddy bar in The Rails What: Felix needs to ask Ciara about serious stuff. Rating: PG? Depends how this goes, may involve swearing and adult themes? Status: In progress.
The roads were still a mess and Felix hadn't yet braved the world outside of her house since the power came back on. She'd spent the day dealing with Vance and Elijah and the repercussions of the weekend. Sort of. She didn't want to think about that anymore. She had other things to deal with, and considering what Felix had heard in the news about Jack Frost and a man dead of hypothermia, she thought this was kind of important. Not that she intended to accuse Ciara of anything, or even turn Ciara in if it turns out it was her. Felix knew the world was full of all sorts of shades of grey, and she knew maybe it wasn't any of her business how it had happened. But... well, Felix had to ask. If it was self defence, well. Felix wasn't naïve enough to think Ciara would get a fair trial. Not if she really was a vigilante.
But Felix was getting ahead of herself. She was making assumptions. She didn't know anything for sure yet. Which was why she wanted to talk to Ciara, even if it wasn't any of her business. So she headed out Monday night, leaving herself plenty of time to brave the subway and get herself out to The Rails. She and Ciara had agreed to meet somewhere low key. It wasn't the best place, in terms of reputation or safety, but Felix had been plenty of worse places and made it out unscathed, so she didn't mind hitting up a seedy bar so they could talk inconspicuously.
Felix had dressed in dark close so she'd blend in to the shadows. She wore black leather-finish leggings, clunky leather motorcycle boots, a dark grey wrap shirt, and a black embroidered scarf. She'd stuffed her phone, keys, and some money into the pocket of her navy blue pea coat, but left her ID and wallet at home. She was going to talk to someone about a crime, after all.
The subway was busy, but Felix made it on time, and she hoped she didn't look nervous as she stepped into the bar and looked around for Ciara. She didn't see the other girl, but she did see a small open booth near the back, and Felix snagged it, sitting on the side facing the door so she could watch for Ciara. She ordered a drink, not because she wanted it but because she thought it would be more suspicious than not getting anything, and she waited.
