It had been a while since Felix had seen Sky. The two girls had been friendly for quite some time, ever since they'd run into each other in the waiting room of the therapist's office they both evidently shared. Sky had recognized Felix because she was friendly with Vance, and the girl was too nice for Felix to be a grump to for long. Felix supposed she and Sky had spent enough time together that they could be considered friends now, although Felix wasn't exactly an expert on the topic.
Still, Sky was thoughtful enough to suggest Indian food for lunch--which was Felix's favorite--even if Felix was thoughtless enough to be late to meet her. Only by about ten minutes, but Felix hated being late, so when she arrived at the restaurant, she felt a bit itchy and frustrated. She wasted no time tracking Sky down in the poorly lit restaurant, decorated with bright colors on the walls and busy patterns on the mismatched table cloths. It was a bit of a cluttered and noisy restaurant, but Felix liked it because it was relaxed.
Felix pulled her bomber jacket off as she approached the table Sky was sitting at, revealing a baggy, bright blue tunic shirt over black and white polka dot leggings with a long necklace holding a big black peace sign pendant. She was also wearing an apologetic smile as she sat down.
"Sorry. Got caught up reading and lost track of the time," Felix said immediately, wrinkling her nose and scrubbing a hand through her big hair. Sky was one of the nicest people Felix knew, so she tried to let go of the stress of being a little late. Sky would let Felix off the hook, surely. "But I'm here now. Hi. It's been a while. You look great, how are you?"
