Emily shrugged. "There's a theory out there that the coins are just sent out into the multiverse, and people can randomly pick them up. They don't specifically choose the people who come here. Which I guess explains why certain kinds of people show up sometimes." She hadn't had any real interaction with those that were a little more... colorful than the rest, but she'd seen them around here and there.
"Before I showed up here, things at home were kind of... well, let's just say that things were complicated at home. I had my friends and my mom, but not everything was sunshine and rainbows. Honestly, I was glad for the break from Rosewood. My hometown." And a break from A who had come back stronger thane ever. Things were different now that she'd been given the memory update, but that had come after she'd developed friendships and a routine here.
"I mean, I manage the local coffee shop, so maybe my superpower is providing caffeine to all of the caffeine addicts around here," She said with a grin. Looking out to the dance floor again, Emily motioned her to come along. "Let's get back out there and have some fun!"
