It was the stupidest idea, to go out clubbing on a week day. But it was normal stupid. The kind of stupid Clarice had never really experienced, if she was honest. Here, now, she could. She could make bad choices that didn't really risk her safety, only her wellbeing and her work the next day. Like a normal goddamn person.
So, she put on some of her best clothes, which were slightly less distressed jeans, slightly better kept sneakers and a slightly more fashionable t-shirt, and went out to Troucation after dinner. Because sometimes normal people went partying by themselves on week nights when they had work early in the morning.
Knowing better than to drink, Clarice eyed the dance floor with timid curiosity; she hadn't danced in forever and wasn't sure she still remembered how. But tonight, she would give it a shot. Closing her eyes, she snaked through the crowd and danced, arms in the air, probably looking stupid as hell but no one was looking. Probably.
