NPC Plot
Rating : low Intake |
He could hardly believe his eyes when Gina’s post popped up on the network. Of all the people he thought he might see, her name wouldn't have been one of them. But if you asked Bellamy, Gina deserved it the most. She deserved so much better than what happened to her at home. Not a day goes by that Bellamy is not haunted the weight of that decision he made that day.
Bellamy knew he had to tell her what happened back home. If she was going to find out about it...it was going to be from him. Not someone else. Though he was going to put that off for as long as possible. Right now he was just happy to see her again, to think maybe she gets a second chance. On his way to intake Bellamy stopped to grab donuts and random bakery goodies. If they were going to be there for a little while he was going to show her one of the perks to being here. Intake was nothing like Bellamy could have imagined. There were groups of people standing around. Bellamy scanned the crowd as he moved through the groups. His eyes finally landed on her and he couldn't help smiling. “Thought you might be hungry,” he greeted her with a smile, holding a bag full of delicious treats. The reaction from people at her reaching out for her friends gave Gina a small idea of what her future held for her. All that kept playing over in her head was the moment before she ended up in here surrounded by a whole bunch of people she had never seen before. Though she refused to let her maybe being dead get her in a bad mood or to have people feeling bad for her, it wasn’t her style, which was why she was trying to act like everything was fine. For now, she was going to ignore everything in her head, enjoy whatever this place had to offer, and enjoy seeing some of the people from back home that were running around here. Gina was glad to see Bellamy was around here, but she didn’t want him to feel like he had to come deal with this crowd; however, she knew he was going to do it no matter what she said. Part of her was glad for that because she wanted to see him, and she didn’t want to stand in this crowd of people by herself. Crossing her arms, she kept her eyes open for any sign of Bellamy in the crowd, smiling at the sign of him before noticing the bag. “You brought food? Thank you, I think you may have been upgraded to my favorite person,” she told him, smiling. “Going to have to break the news to some people I met around here on how they have been downgraded,” she teased, turning her smile into a smirk as she reached for the bag that he was holding. “What did you get?” Bellamy didn't feel bad for Gina but he felt responsible. He trusted Echo, thinking their time in Mount Weather, fighting the same fight meant something - changed something. But it hadn't and Gina paid the price for his mistake. Gina and 48 others.People he cared about died because he trusted the wrong person. He wanted to see Gina but he also needed to know she was really here and really okay. "I'm hurt," Bellamy responded. "I wasn't before?" he asked, pretending to be shocked. "Donuts, muffins and probably a few other things. I had them throw a bunch of things in there. Figured we might be here awhile and it beats everything back home," he answered, handing it to her and taking the seat next to her. Bellamy had settled into life in Atlantis pretty easily. It didn't mean he trusted them entirely, he'd always be on guard. They have been crossed too many times. But he couldn't deny several advantages to being here; running water, food they didn't have to catch, real beds. For the moment, Gina ignored the question she wanted to ask Bellamy at some point to focus on the fact that this place while strange, was also a little amazing. It wasn’t like anything she had ever seen before, then adding in her friends made it even better. Not wanting to ruin this moment or be forced to face reality, Gina decided to avoid that question for a little while longer. Focusing instead on the food, Bellamy, and later a hot shower. This place seemed to have everything so she was willing to bet that she was going to be able to take a long shower later. The smile already on her face became bigger at his pretend shocked look, “Sorry to tell you this now, but no, I had this other guy really good looking, brown hair, little taller than you, and he was number one.” Gina was messing with him since Bellamy had been the only guy she even looked twice at back in their world, but hey, she could have a little fun. “Already sounds better than what I had earlier in the day,” Gina commented, taking the bag from him and opening it up to look inside. When Bellamy sat down, Gina closed the bag for a moment to turn in the seat, leaning over, and giving him a hug that was slightly awkward from the position they were in, but she would give him a better one later. “Thank you for coming down here to keep me company and bring me food,” Gina was being serious and wasn’t joking around like she had been, Bellamy coming to keep her company was very welcomed, especially when he probably had other things to deal with. Pulling back, she opened the bag again to pull out a muffin, holding the bag out to him so he could take something. Picking at the sides of the muffin, she looked over at him, “What’s the story with this place? How long have you even been here?” Bellamy had said it was a long story; however, she needed to know for her own sanity how this was all possible. Once the questions were asked, she pulled a small piece of the muffin in her hand to stick a bit in her mouth, waiting to hear what he had to say. "Gina Martin you wound me," he teased. "I know this is a lot better than anything we have at home," Bellamy assured her. Though that wasn't going to be hard to figure out. He wrapped his arms around her, turning in his seat. It brought back everything he had kept buried deep. "There's no where else I'd be," he said, giving her a warm smile. "Plus I did get bumped up to your favorite. So…worth it I think." Bellamy took a donut out of the bag and bit into it. That was a long story. Mainly because it when it was explained to him it had only led to more questions. "We've been pulled here to fight in some war. Apparently the fate of our world and the one here in Atlantis is in trouble," Bellamy started. "There's these coins scattered all over and people who pick them up get transported here. The magic bit was a lot for me to take in at first." Believing that magic existed was probably the hardest thing for him to accept. With the things that went on here daily…well, it did get easier to acknowledge. Then there was the whole other piece about them being fictional…from a television show for entertainment. "This time I've been here a month and a half. I was here before but something happened and I got sent back. I'm just glad that hasn't happened again." A smirk showed up at the wound me comment, shaking her head slightly. Gina needed this small moment of teasing, knowing that if she was correct, she would be having to deal with the fact that when she returned home it was to her death. “I won’t argue on how this is a lot better than anything we have at home, but no matter what it’s still our home,” she commented, but she had to admit this place was something amazing. Gina wouldn’t have ever thought a place like this was possible until now, and part of her wasn’t even sure if she wanted to leave. Feeling his arms around her, made it easier to relax as best as she could in a strange place because she knew this wasn’t some weird dream that she was having. Moving to sit back in her seat in a more comfortable fashion, she rolled her eyes, tilting her head slightly at him. “You’re so easy to please, Bellamy. Then again…I have to admit being my favorite is a big deal and that isn’t me being bias, just factual,” she told him, making sure she looked all serious as she said it. |
