Not entirely human. Faster and could regenerate limbs. So he'd said then. But it was different now that they were in his world. Having seen the man literally fight his way outside of a Titan's jaw was certainly a sight to see. Never mind seeing him regrow a leg. He watched the trick with his hand and was again fiercely reminded of Eren regrowing a tooth right after Levi himself had kicked it out. It didn't surprise him, but he accepted the man's ability for what it was.
"For your own safety, don't mention or show that ability around anyone else but me or the commander, if you run into him. We have people here who can shift into Titans, and one of their abilities is that they can do just what you did, even with being eaten by another Titan. I witnessed it myself." Levi's face darkened then, not wanting to go into detail about losing his whole squad with a stranger because of a shifter with a vengeance. Or she'd been on a mission. It still wasn't clear what Annie's purpose was, but Levi knew one thing: there were at least two other Shifters out there that they didn't know about, but suspected who they were. It was Erwin's new task to sort out that information if he could.
He did grimace when he saw John cleaning off the boot and putting it right back on, desperately wanting to wash away the blood from it. But that was the other soldier's choice for now. As long as he didn't have to touch it.
Very well, then. "Faring decently, from what I've heard. No severe injuries yet to report. I'm keeping an eye out though, just in case. If nothing else, I can kill these bastards." Levi kicked at the Titan head, glaring at it as he spoke.
