Anakin's night had been a good one, he'd slept well and felt well rested that morning, which was good because getting up at 5 am felt like a mistake, and he had a feeling that following this schedule, he'd be shifting his run time closer to 8 rather than five. The reason had been more of a selfish one to be honest; it was cooler this early in the morning, making for an easier run that really got the blood flowing, further Anakin was curious about the sunrise in a world like Atlantis. On Coruscant, a sunrise was nearly impossible to really see; on Yavin IV, while it was a beautiful world, the thick jungle made it impossible to even see a horizon.
So Anakin made his way down from his room, after suiting up. A plain white shirt worn over his torso, and a pair of thin trousers to help him remain comfortable in his running, he slipped out of the complex and began to stretch, and run in place to get blood pumping before finally taking off on a path that had not been decided upon before hand. Figuring he'd play it by ear as he took off through the city of Atlantis.
He tried to block off the Force from himself, so that the run would be entirely on his own stamina and strength; he'd call upon the Force later, when he began to grow winded and exhausted, in order to give himself a few more miles and a boost. It was part of his new-found desire to not treat the Force as a crutch or tool, but rather a helpful entity that he called upon only when absolutely necessary. It's what allowed him an edge over the Vong, for he was ready to fight them without the Force after Mara's teachings.
