If Lincoln Burrows hadn't been here with him, Michael likely would not have stayed. After everything that they had been through, he was not about to leave his brother behind ever again if he had a choice in the matter. Besides, Lincoln needed his help, and even though he would probably never admit it aloud to anyone, Michael needed his brother. Lincoln kept him grounded and gave him focus when Michael would otherwise get lost in his head. When he'd received the message about the war, Michael had been hesitant until he saw the announcement on the network that Lincoln had also arrived. It was almost a shame that Sucre wasn't here, or Sara, but at the very least, his brother was around. He knew it was easier if he got to his brother rather than Lincoln trying to find him. A quick survey on this strange network had told him that either the Company really wasn't here or at the very least it hadn't made its presence known yet around here. That much was good. He was going to be quite cautious of the world that they were now in, but he could at least let his skills be useful around here. That's something that he could do. After checking the network, Michael changed his clothing and made his way to his brother's room. Dressed in blue jeans and a sharp dark blue shirt, Michael pulled his blue hoodie on over himself and drew its hood over his face. It was still habit to hide himself and to try to blend in with the world around him. He reached the tower and the room where Lincoln was staying and knocked lightly, then called out just to be safe, "Linc? It's Michael." |
